How old for Jumperoo?

And why can't I remember any of this stuff? You would think I have a 10 year old rather than a 2 year old :)

Do you think 5 months is too young?  She holds her head well, but I don't want to take it out if she won't use it b/c it is so big (and fugly).

Thanks!

Re: How old for Jumperoo?

  • we started DS in there a little after 3mos when he had good head control. it's not like he was bouncing that early- but he loved it just the same.
  • I don't have a jumperoo, but I put G in his door jumper and exercauser around 3.5-4 months and he did great.  He loves them both.  I say try it now!

  • I think DS was around 4 months, so I say go for it.

And I forget everything from when DD was younger too, and they are only 18 months apart!

  • We started DS in the jumper around 4mths. He had great head and trunk control, so I felt comfortable starting then.

  • Our little ones were born on the same day and DS has been in it since probably 4 months.  Maybe even a tad earlier.  I think she'd be fine!
