I am officially stopping at the bakery tomorrow

in 2nd Trimester
Thanks to Celebrity Apprentice. I haven't watched this show in YEARS! And the night I watch again, this happens. I haven't even been craving sweets! So, I'm making a trip to my favorite local bakery after work. It's a better choice than making a whole batch of cupcakes and eating them all.

    Lol. I feel the same way. I am soooo in the mood for cupcakes now!!

    I discovered single pieces of cake at Target in the ready-made section.  Huge discovery for me.  I can either make an entire cake/pan of whatever (brownies/rice kripsy treats, etc.) or buy a single (overpriced) piece of dessert.  I hate to spend $3 for one piece, but it's cheaper than a restaurant and better than an entire cake!


    Me – 33 (no diagnosis), DH – 41 (MFI)

    IVF #1/ICSI 2008 – 22 ER, 21 F, Day 3 transfer (8A and 8B) - BFP, 3 Frosties

    Surprise BFP 2010

    Surprise BFP 2011

    Shipped frosties from TX to VA in 2012

    FET #1 May 2013, single blast – BFN

    FET #2 August 2013 2 blasts – BFN

    IVF #2/ICSI/AH Jan 2014 – 8 ER, 7M, 6 F Day 3 transfer (grade 2 & 3), no frosties - BFP!

    I agree with you, if I am craving something like that, I usualy just go buy it instead of making them at home because I will most likely eat 1 or 2 or eat them all, so either way they will go to waste or I will be feeding my child nothing but cupcakes!

    I am with you. The cost of buying compared to making is crazy! But not worth the extra calories and fat.

    Fortunately or unfortunately, I can't eat bakery cupcakes (due to allergies), so we have to make them ourselves.

    DH used to work next door to a bakery that had pink lemonade cupcakes.  Lemon filling in the inside of the cupcake and pink frosting.  They had a lot of different flavors but that was my favorite.  Unfortunately it is 25 min from my house!
