So, I've felt just a little itchy today and am wondering if I'm gearing up for a wonderful yeast infection. Do I see if the itchy gets worse or hopefully goes away, or do I just go ahead and call the doc?
I'd go ahead and call. My doctor prescribed me something so i'm not sure if everything sold over the counter is safe or not. I've only had one yeast infection my whole life so honestly I was clueless about it!
I'm feeling the same way and wondering the same thing. I'm on some antibiotics and wondering if that caused it. I sometimes get itchy around my period and it goes away. If I'm still bad tomorrow, I'll probably call the doc.
I would call... I've had 4 since I got pg plus one episode of BV. Everything is just out of whack. There are some antifungals that are safer than others (I always get mine RX because they order it to the base pharmacy). One time I let it go a few days and I was SUPER uncomfortable at work!

I would call in the morning if I were you.. just to nip it in the bud before it gets bad. But let me just warn you not to take any of the OTC meds - I took some a couple years ago and it BURNED like nobody's business. My DH even wanted to take me to the ER I was in so much pain! I can't imagine using them while PG.. Eeek.?

Do they do an internal every time to see if that's what it is? I've never had to ask the doc if I have one (I found out I had the beginnings of one at my last annual).

I was on an antibiotic a few weeks ago and was really itchy/dry until about two days after I finished the medication.
I posted this question a week or so ago because I was having the itchies too. I just started changing my underwear more often (because of the discharge) and making sure to take a shower after sex. One woman said to get it checked out because she had bacterial vaginosis, which can cause preterm labor. I just decided to wait a couple more days and now I'm fine.

I'd call... I was on antibiotics for UTI and that caused the yeast infection, it started out a little itchy and got worse.
