It looks really nice, but agree, a little pricey for us too.  DH is freaking about a $400 crib so I doubt we will get a $400 rocking chair.

They are pricey, but it's so hard to find an upholstered chair like that (vs. the traditional glider) for much less money.  I don't like the look of the gliders so our chair is likely going to cost more than our other furniture.  On the other hand we plan to continue to use it for awhile and can even put it in our room or the living room afterward so I don't think it's a horrible investment.

I totally agree that it's worth the expense. I figure I will spend a lot of time in that chair!

I don't like the look of gliders either.... just seems to "harsh" for me for a baby's room... I don't know. I'm very picky though. : )

My brother got this when they registered.  It is so comfy!  Be sure you put a fabric protector or scotch guard it before use...it stains VERY easily, with or without it being from baby!
