2nd Trimester

Random Question

So I am doing a bit of cleaning around the house. I was just wondering what everyone's least favorite cleaning activity is.

Mine is folding socks. When I do the laundry I save those for the very last. I think it's because there are so many different types of socks, and it takes forever to sort them. Anyway, I'm just kind of procrastinating.

Re: Random Question

  • Doing laundry, because it takes FOREVER..... and then putting it all away. I hate putting it away! lol

  • folding anything!!! but socks are def the worse!!!! they usually stay in the basket and we have to dig every morning! Embarrassed
  • Anything in the bathroom. I hate doing it because I'm a bit of a germaphobe.

Also, FYI, I really don't mind folding socks, but it might be because all mine are the same except for the length, of which there are only three different lengths, and DH's are all the same.

My good friend hates folding socks too, so when I'm over there, I do it for her.?

  • It's a tie between folding socks and cleaning the shower.

Wanna take a trip to California? I'm doing laundry now, and I'm sure I'll have LOTS O' SOCKS that you can fold! :)
  • the bathroom.  period.  We actually have a housekeeper that comes 2x/month and does the actual deeper cleaning and then we do vacuuming/sweeping in between.  I don't mind laundry at all.  We are spoiled b/c in San Antonio it is really cheap to find a housekeeper (we pay cash) and we are both doing residencies.  I am praying that when we move to Japan (we are military) we can find an inexpensive housekeeper.  Who maybe happens to be a nanny Wink

  • DITTO!!!!  i have a whole hamper full of clean socks because i hate to sort them!!!
  • The bathroom.

Someday, when we have a *little* more money, I am getting a housekeep to do those big things.  I hate it, and DH knows it.

I shouldn't even say this, but most of the time my mom does that stuff around here.  She knows I hate it, she doesn't mind it and she really like to do things for people.  I never, ever ask her to but sometimes she'll call and say "Do you want me to come clean your bathroom/vacuum/mop the kitchen?  I have a few hours right now."

    Embarrassed

Dishes.  I hate doing the dishes.  I am the automatic dishwasher, and sadly, there was no room in the kitchen of the new house to put one in.  (I bet I could have found space for it!  DH and FIL didn't think it was necessary.)
Oh dishes used to be my least favorite until we moved into a place with a dishwasher. Tell them that according to me, that a dishwasher is necessary, and that doesn't mean you scrubbing the dishes :)
  • Dishes and Laundry esoecially putting it away!
  • I don't mind doing the laundry, but I hate putting it away.  I also hate emptying the dishwasher, so DH does it.
  • Umm... everything.. I am lazy, I have to say I hate doing dishes because my hands get all waterlogged.

If I get in the mood to clean I will go to town.  I don't mind laundry because I can do things in between, like when clothes are washing and drying I can bump or watch a DVRed show.

Man, I wish I had your mom.  I hate cleaning and I can't even get my mom to HELP me clean things  the right way (ya, I know I suck at cleaning).
