2nd Trimester

Movie night with DH last night- I am so lame! LOL

Well, first we watched My Best Friend's Girl, which we both really liked. It was really funny. Also, I love Kate Hudson.

Then we watched The Strangers. Another less than satisfying horror film overall but I like Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman. It had some disturbing parts. I really can't watch any scary movies at night or before bed! Afterwards, I went in the front hall to get some toilet paper from the closet. DH accidentally made a bumping noise and I screamed and ran to turn on the light! Then I checked the family room for masked strangers. LOL

I am still that little girl looking for Freddie Kruger in the dining room. I really hate scary movies.

  • OMG. I'm with you! I can't even watch the preview/trailor for The Strangers because I get freaked out. Is it as scary as the trailor makes it seem?

  • I am right with you...I cannot handle scary movies at all!  I am completely terrified of Michael Myers and the Halloween movies....when the last movie came out, I accidentally saw some of the commercials and was freaked out for days!  Friday the 13th with Jason is no better.....I won't watch any of these movies.  Even the lighter ones like Sixth Sense and The Others freak me out.  God, I couldn't even watch House of Wax (the lame one with Paris Hilton)....

DH loves to tease me...if he is trying to fall asleep at night, he will make noises and whisper that Michael Myers is coming to get me.....I just hit him and he stops lol.  Plus, we have a crawl space in our laundry room (to allow for heating ducts to go through)...and it is exactly as I would picture something Michael Myers would be living in.....not fun!

  • The Strangers scared me bad. I was terrified for nights. I still find myself peaking around corners when I wake up in the middle of the night having to pee! FI laughs at me because I watch cartoons before I go to bed so that I don't dream scary things. Here recently what happens in tv shows seem to happen in my dreams! lol
  • I was this way before, however I married the biggest horror movie buff it's crazy. We own almost any series that is in a box set. He is now into getting the originals of any horror movie that has been remade. He now wants to make a horror movie. I cannot get away without seeing horror movies or just scary movies period.

You ladies are lucky lol. Not to mention how when we first met he would spend time hiding to scare the crap out of me.
