Recaro Como car seat

Anyone ever heard of it? Any reviews? I see it's usually $249 in the stores, and woot.com has it for $99 plus $5 shipping. I assume it's like a Britax??

They had it on woot a few weeks ago and we missed out on it by a couple hours, but I saw it in time and just ordered it this morning!

Recaro is a reputable company that makes actual car seats for high end cars like Porsche and Aston Martin and Audi, as well as race cars- and their child car seats have great reviews. Baby Bargains gives them a very good rating in comparison to the Britax.

There are some negative things (mostly nitpicky stuff) in online reviews, but for the most part I've heard nothing but great things - we've also seen it in person and the quality is fantastic. We have a couple of friends who bought it the last time it was on woot and love it. 

Definitely look into it - because it is an awesome deal!

Thanks! I'm buying the blush one now for DD. I've been reading tons of reviews, and it seems like a great deal and an excellent car seat, especially for side impact.

It's the only 5 star side crash test rated car seat. I found that out just a few weeks ago when my brother told me about the deal woot.com had. It's a great deal on a high end top rated car seat.  I got it in the cobalt & navy.

they are great seats.

i would be buying them for the twins now but i just don't want ot have to store them that long.

Ah! my husband has been saying he needs a recaro car seat for his car forever! His car has Recaro seats...he would be so excited! I just tried ordering one but they are out of the cobalt color! ugh!!!

Woot indeed!  My husband has been bugging me about recaro seats since the day we got our BFP - he's an audi enthusiast.  We got two in midnight desert, he's very excited!
