ummm.... I would start leaving at 8 hours when you feel like you need to.... depends on your financial situation too... I would try to work the twelve hours as long as I could...
If your salary and you get what you need to get gone in the eight hours I dont see why you would stay twelve but one the other hand I find comfort in staying busy so If you have a job that you can work the whole twelve and your happy and comfortable i'd do twelve.
That's a tough one then. I guess I would gauge it from day to day depending on how I feel then. If it's ok'd by the boss though, then I'd be more likely to leave at least an hour or so earlier than normal.
Is it an "all or nothing" situation? I mean- would you have the option to work the 12 hours when you were feeling up to it, and only the 8 when you weren't?
Re: To leave work or not to leave work?
Because I don't want to see the shift after me get stuck with a lot of work
My work is never actually "done" there is always always someone getting arrested so there is always work that will come in and need to be charged.
I would only work the 8 hours than. If you are getting paid the same for 8 as you are for 12, than why stay the extra 4 hours.
