Why do second pg show earlier?

I don't get it.  It's not like the baby is bigger earlier....Can anyone explain this to me?  It's my curious question of the night...

Aside from the obvious answer of telling you to Google it:

Your body remembers what it's like to be pregnant.  Your muscles automatically loosen back up a lot faster.

Your body remembers the process of having a child and makes the changes at a quicker pace based on what happened before.

Because the muscles are looser and your tummy doesn't hold it in as well...

body memory, used to being PG so pops out to make room.

Once muscles are stretched they are easier to stretch again... body has a shape memory, so it takes a lot less effort to "pop".?

This and your uterus doesn't shrink back all the way from the first baby.

You're only 9 weeks. You may not show THAT early. It is different for everyone but my doc said you *can* show up to 4 weeks earlier.
