Maternity clothes are "adult clothes".  I don't care if you house them behind the baby section because you want me to buy the cute baby clothes.  My 25% off coupon should have been honored.  I almost *** slapped the manager who informed me that maternity clothes are not adult clothes.  And don't give me that crap that the stores are separate.  I could have walked to the regular Gap without having to go back out into the mall. 

If I wasn't desperate for a pair of jeans that fit, I would have.

i understand the strategic placement- but i cannot believe they called maternity clothes non-adult-  that is ridiculous, if they want them excluded from a coupon, maternity specifically should be listed in the exclusions

FWIW.. I hate the Gap. Always have. I've probably walked into (NEVER bought from) that store a total of 5 times my entire life.
