ultra sounds

in 2nd Trimester

ok i am 21 1/2 weeks and you know i still havn't have even one u/s is anyone else in my position?

    Do you have one scheduled? Many women only get one, between 18-22 weeks, on average.

    nope... I got my first one at 7 weeks and I am getting another one on Wednesday.

    When are you going back to the Dr's?

    Do you have one schduled if not I would call Monday and see why and schdule one if you can.

    I just had my big u/s last week.

    But had two prior 1st was at 6 weeks to make sure everything was ok since prior loss, 2nd was at 10weeks beacuse we could not get the baby's heart beat on the dobble and my Dr. could see I was a reck!!!  So really I think I was only going to get the 20 week not the other two so you should be due for yours.

    Just call Monday and ask????

    no my dr. hasnt said anything to me about an ultrasound and when i ask about it they just blow it off..... i am so pissed i told my dr. that i wanted the quad test and i never got that either.. i mean what the hell i really want to switch dr.s but the next nearest hospital is 2 hours from where we live. what to do????

    Is your dr the only one that delivers at the hospital near you?

    So far, I've had one at 8w2d in the hospital, one at 9w to make sure the hospital findings were accurate, and our NT Scan at 13 wks.?

    I've heard its pretty common to only get the anatomy scan around 20w if you have a "normal", healthy PG.. but not getting a test you requested is what would make me want to switch practices. Your dr should have respected your wishes or at the very least explain why s/he couldn't do so. ?

    What! They blow you off? How weird! I was thinking you must have asked at some point if/when you get an u/s. There is no other doctor you could use?
