Gift idea for two year old?

We are going to a Birthday party for a little girl turning two.  Any good gift ideas?  Part of me says she'll probley get tons of toys so maybe I should get clothes?

i got a little doctor's set for a 2 y/o girl and she LOVED it- b/c all the other toys she got were really girly stuff.

books are good- but put the gift receipt in them and don't write any notes in them - b/c it's hard to know what people already have.

Any role playing gifts - like the doctor kit, dress up, play food.

 

Books are always great. Some of our favorites are Pinkalicious, Princess Baby, anything by David Shannon or Doreen Cronin (Click, Clack Moo is good).
