why is everyone on bedrest?

i had a loss at 24 weeks due to pprom

then i got pg again and was on strict bedrest starting at week 16 due to ptl and ic.

then had another loss again at 18 weeks.

I know, where was this board this time last year?? Well atleast it will be here my next time around because once again, high risk and bed rest it will be!

I'm on modified bedrest (home on the couch but not in bed/laying down) because of a loss of twins at 23 weeks, maybe due to placental abruption but they're unsure whether the labor caused the abruption or vice versa.

I'm so sorry for your losses.

I think its great that they got this board, I wish it would have been around when I was pregnant.  I was (and will be for any pregnancy I have) high risk because I have type 1 diabetes.  I was also put on hospitalized bedrest due to pre-e.

I just saw this board tonight. I wish they had this when i was on bedrest too. I had vasa previa. If anyone has it and wants to talk, page me on parenting after a loss. that is where i usually am.
