Aw, thanks for asking!! You're too sweet Thanks so much for your help this morning - it's nice to get feedback/opinions from people I trust!
His fever is down a bit, but only b/c of the motrin/tylenol combination - he definitely isn't feeling well - poor guy.
I called my old pedi's office (out of desparation to talk with someone I trusted) and they told me that unless he has a recal fever of 104 or higher, or shows worsening other symptoms, to wait until the third day of fever before brining him in somewhere. Soo... I feel a bit better. I'm almost sure it's a viral cold (my SIL showed up with it when she came to visit last week and I wanted to kill her! Gee, thanks for infecting my child and putting me at risk, too, at almost 37wks pg!)
How's your little one doing - I noticed that she, too, had a fever this AM! Ugh...
I always feel like I'm too laid back when I don't rush DD to the pedi's office for every cough or fever. There are definitely some alarmists on this board. It sounds like you know exactly what he has, so there's not much you can do but wait it out and watch the fever.
DD is doing fine. The only change in her behavior was that she asked to take a nap today. Normally it's a fight to get her down.

Glad she's doing well - and what a treat when they actually ask to take a nap!! DS is currently up in his crib moaning/whining - I feel so badly for him - every time he quiets down he coughs and wakes himself up!
Yeah, I try to not run him to the doctor for every little bump/bruise/fever or cough, but I do always fear underestimating when I should bring him in. In this case, not having a pedi is certainly making it easier to not go immediately -lol.
