Milk w/chocolate syrup?

My cousin's son wouldn't drink milk, so their doctor told them that they could put a little bit of Hershey's chocolate syrup in it for him.  This was when he was about 14 or 15 months old. It worked like a charm for them.

I didn't ask my doctor about this because DS doesn't seem to have a problem drinking plain milk so far, but I'm just curious if anyone else does that?

This. DS is 3 and loves it. DD is 1.5 y/o and is quite the fan herself. Honestly you really only have to put a dab of syrup in it to give it the slightest chocolate syrup.

  • When we were having trouble getting DD to drink from a sippy cup we added a little chocolate syrup. ?It serious took one day of chocolate milk and she was drink from the sippy full time. ?It was actually quite comical watching her tip her head back and shake the sippy to get every last drop out. ?We haven't given her any since, but I probably would if she was sick and not getting enough fluids.
