"At least you're not having 8 babies"

WTH?!  Whenever I tell people I am having twins and even after they see DD and realize that I will have 3 under 2 years old... they say, "well at least you're not having 8 babies" because of the whole octomom thing.  Seriously... I have been told this at least 10 times by different people.  Is everyone else getting this comment too.  It's kind of annoying.

yup. all the time. i mostly find it annoying b/c i'm so freakin' sick of people talking about that woman.... it is so tired.

Yep, people keep bringing it up to me, too. That and they keep sending/showing me the pic of the copy/paste twins. (And mine aren't even identical.)

It cracks me up.  My twins are spontaneous, but I like to reply that I just didn't understand, we had 8 implanted.

I'm so tired of people saying that.  After your twins are born, you will find that people are constantly asking you the same 6 to 8 questions, every time you take them out.

To which I reply... yeah and then they kept going... these will most likely be our only children so there is little to no chance there will be 6 more in our future (which I sometimes feel is WAY too nice of an answer)
