Does this sound OK?

My mom & sisters are throwing my shower & we are trying to keep it cost effective. We have planned it at a hall that has both an adequette indoor & outdoor area so that depending on the weather we could do it outside under a pavillion or indoors. The only date that sounds reasonable to me available is July 4th. We are Canadian, so this is not a Holiday & should not effect too many of our guests, although we do live on a boarder city with the US so some people may be affected. My only other options are June 7th (28 wks, mom thinks to early) or August 2nd (almost 37 wks I think too late).

We plan on having it at 11am on a Saturday & doing a light lunch/brunch. I usually go to Sunday afternoon lunch showers so I am concerened this won't work as well. We are constrained with hall options & dates. Do you think this will work?

I don't think a brunch necessarily has to be on a Sunday. I think it will be fine!

It sounds good to me.  I actually prefer Saturday showers during the day because Sundays can get a little hectic with church.  I wouldn't wait until 37 weeks.
