WOW! This would explain why at BRU we just had a stop sale on all but 3 of our mattresses. Luckily the one I own isnt one of them. But if it was, I probably wouldnt go buy a new one.
We currently co-sleep but we're planning to buy an organic cotton/wool mattress when we move her into her room. We have a regular crib mattress right now. She did have a reaction to the Carter's clothing tags (which is a suspected phthalate reaction) so I don't feel comfortable with her sleeping on the current mattress.
Possibly. ?We currently have a wool/cotton mattress with a washable cotton cover over the stuffed mattess (if that makes any sense, picture an old-fashioned mattress w/ stripes on the outside) and we like it. ?But we were thinking of getting a different crib/toddler mattress when we move. However, b/c J is so freaking tall, we may just transition him to a toddler bed (or a twin bed on the ground w/ guardrails) over the next few months since he's started to show signs of wanting to climb out of his crib. ?
