:-D  It's my FIRST purchase since our BFP... I'm SO proud of myself for holding out so long!  Last night I was out getting a shower gift for my nephew's gf (don't get me started), and since Target and WalMart didn't have crap from her registry, I just bought baby Kolten some board books (which is really funny and terribly sad because even though I'm providing the books, I'll be surprised if his mom or dad ever read to him) to start a library for him.  And being the bookaholic I am, I bought two for our little bumble bee too.  The best part?  I got 20% off of everything (and it was all already on clearance)... which made the savings so much that it paid for my books!

You are not alone on the book thing!  That is the first purchase we have made for our baby!  I am the biggest nerd when it comes to reading.  I grew up in a family of teachers, so it is something that is so important to us!  I hope your Nephew and his GF appreciate the gift you are giving them!

I'm a book nerd too.  I'm an elementary teacher so I have a huge collection of books. 

Books are one of the best gifts in my opinion.  I hope your nephew and his girlfriend appreciate it and actually use them.
