Buying winter clothes for next year?

Anyone have a19 month old?  He is like 26 lb, 33in. My son fills out his 2T stuff now, I am not sure what sizes to buy... What are you doing?

I buy stuff if I like it and depending on the sizing, I get either 3t or even 4t. I figure my sons growth has to slow down at some point, right?

After the 1st year, my girls slowed down a lot.  Alex is 3.5 and wears a 4.  Taylor is 14 mo and wears a 18 mo/2T.  I would probably buy 2T pants and 2/3 shirts.  3's for sure if they are short sleeved.
