She went through a good 5-6 months of fighting me on every.single.thing I told her. It was not alot of fun, and dh would end up frsutrated with both of us because we were "fighting" all the time as he put it. But, for the last month or two, she has suddenly started to actually want to do what I ask her, and is constantly going out of her way to make me happy. Literally asking me if she is making me happy, if she is being a good helper, etc.
I always loved being with her (even when we were having power struggles) but I can't wait to get home these days. I enjoy every second with her now, and so does dh. It doesn't hurt that she is always hugging us and telling us "I love you, and I like you very much too".
So, when your toddler is being a pill know that they will grow out of it!
Re: I think dd has a magic switch
How sweet is that?
I have been having a difficult time with DD lately. Today, she was a completely different child. Almost like a robot. She did everything I asked as soon as I asked. Getting her to school was not a struggle. Her teacher said she even had a great day at school too! I praised her like crazy for being so good today.
