Just thinking ahead about taking DS to Disneyworld in FL but didnt know if they had a special month/day that they do discounted tickets or something for families?
Not really, although they are doing the birthday promotion this year.
Also, be careful where you buy your tickets. If you get them through AAA or the Disney Store, or from one of the parks, Disney can track them if you lose them. If you get them from one of the places that say they sell discounted Disney tickets, they can't do anything about them because they have no way to track them. Also, those tickets can often be scams that you don't discover until you try to get into the Magic Kingdom.
ah ha! Thanks lori for the heads, man, scammers everywhere! We'd probably do AAA as we'd be doing it for the hotel I'm sure. Man i SO cannot WAIT to see him experience it! Maybe next Spring, he'll be just a little over 2 then What sparked it was my weirdo MIL bought me oven mits (minnie & mickey) hello...i'm 32!! But anyways, he managed to drag them out of the cooking drawer yesterday and kept calling them "puppies" LOL so they are now his toys
I just had a brain fart!! What if we got like a TON of people from this website together to book as a "group" now that would be cool, discounted hotels, flights, tickets, hmmm
Having worked at the Magic Kingdom, no Disney does not offer discounted tickets directly. You can get discounted tickets through various channels, but not from Disney directly.
Kids under 3 get in for free. And this year they're running a promotion where you can get in for free on your birthday, you just have to register your birthday with them before you go, and they send you the free pass.
WOW! How cool would that be to go on your BDAY! How would I top his 3rd birthday though LOL And December in florida is AWESOME!! I lived north of Orlando for about 15 months w/ my old job and it was HEAVEN!
We just booked a vacation for this summer. It was buy 4 days (hotel and tickets) get 3 days free. DD will be abot 15 months old at the time. I still think that she will have fun. She loves watching people and music and I think that she will be enthrawled with it! We are going w/ my parents and my BIL and SIL. I can't wait!

Nestie vacation to Disney!!! I would SO be there!
I could hook us up with some tours, etc. My ex is a guest relations manager at MK, and a VIP tour guide.
