We called them all on the phone and said "guess what!?! we're pregnant!" Okay, so not very creative, but it succeeded in getting everyone very excited about Baby H!
I got my mom and dad picture frames. They said Nana & Papa. At first they didn't get it because that is what my nephews call them..so they thought I just saw a cute picture frame and bought it for them. But then my grandma (great-grandma to be) opened her frame and it just said Baby on it. So they put it together and eventually got it.
With my DS we got a tshirt for my DH to wear that said "My boys can swim". For this baby my DS wore a big brother tshirt. Cafepress.com makes all sorts of cute shirts. have fun!
I found two great onsies, one says "If Mommy says no, ask Grandma" and the other says "Grandpa's my Hero". We'll wrap them up and give them to DH's parents at the same time. It will be their first grandchild (they've been extremely patient!), so we can't wait to see their reactions. We're waiting until we go visit them in March so we can tell them in person.

LOL, this must be big in NC, our friends did the same thing (A "my boys can swim" polo shirt)
"For a long time there were only your footprints & laughter in our dreams & even from such small things, we knew we could not wait to love you forever."
I called my mom the night I got my BFP. Ok, before I tell you what I said, I admit it was pretty lame! Anyway, I asked her if she had any pickles I could borrow. She was like, "Well, ya I think I do." and she sounded all confused then I said. "Well, I already have some ice cream here." and she got it immediately. See, I told you I was lame! hehehe
Baby #1: 19 cycles, failed IUI, and 1 + IVF 3-5-07
Baby #2: 12 cycles, 1 failed FET, natural miracle but m/c at 9 weeks then another natural miracle that stuck! 9-30-09
my grandpa passed last year so it was just my grandma- but i sent your flowers from the baby (she's in palm springs) with a card that read: Dear Great Grandma, I don't know you yet but I already love you. I can't wait to meet you in June. Love, Baby Neudorfer EDD June 10th.
I was on the phone with her when she received them so I had her read the card outload... it was a really special moment!
For my mom and dad we took a picture, put it in a frame and had a list next to it that said: Frame... $12, Digital Camera... $320.... Realizing there is three of us in this picture... Priceless.
For dh's mom it was her birthday in two weeks so we just wrapped up a bib that said I love Grandma and gave it to her over dinner.
For my brother and his sister we made puzzles that their children could put together that read the saying: You will be a cousin in June!

Yup - perfect for NC huh? Even better was some people in the family not really getting it... My DH still wears the Tshirt to the gym and at the beach, and people always ask about it... we did not go with the one that had the cartoon looking sperm on it too - we are more classy than that! Ha!

DH and I liked this so much, we're going to steal it! We were going to do fortune cookies.

We bought the same onesies! Carter's at Target, right??! Baby O is due on my dad's birthday, so it was really fun to tell my parents. We also bought them a recordable card from Hallmark - a grandparents' valentine that we prefaced was from our dogs. My parents *loved* it all.
Have fun telling them!

We went to my parents house for dinner and we had to pick up the pizza. So at the pizza place I asked for an extra small box. I put a onesie in the box. We got to the house and everyone started eating the pizza. I asked my dad if he wanted a bread stick. He said No! So I said well you have to eat a bread stick. He opened the box and it took a few seconds but her got it!! It was great except now he refers to the baby as "Bread Stick"!! oh no!

We simply told them each. ?No fuss. ?Yeah, same with when we told them we were getting married. ?Basically, because they knew it was coming.
Sorry, I'm not a big help!?
