Anyone else have to stop and think about how old they are?

I was looking at the birthday post below, and I had to sit here and think about how old I'll be on my next birthday.  (I'll be 33 in March)  I guess when you have kids and get older you just think of how old they will be on their birthday.

  • I used to until my teenagers started reminding me on daily basis just how freaking ancient I am lol

  • I always do that.  I hate when people ask how old I am because I always have to think about it!

  • Usually yes, I have to think about it...but now that I'm 29 and refusing to have anymore birthdays I can remember my age.

  • I don't only because I have to explain how at 21 I have 3 kids lol That or I get wow! you look really good for your age because they assume I am older.
  • Yep.  When I went into the hospital while pregnant with Andersen, the nurse asked me to look over my bracelet and make sure all the info was right.  Everything looked fine until I got to the age.  I objected...and then H reminded me that I am, in fact, 26.  I could have sworn I was 25!
  • No, I am quite aware that I'm going to be 40Geeked
  • All the time!  Whenever I'm asked (which isn't often anymore) I always want to say 26.

    ETA: I'm 32

  • Yes. I realized one day I told someone the wrong age. I'm stopping at 29 next year.

  • I have been 28 for 4yrs, it's working out quite nicely.
  • I totally do. And then it sets off my thinking about how I can't believe I'm really that old. Not that I am "old"...I will be 27 in May. But I feel like I'm still 22. lol
