Babies: 0 - 3 Months

review of baby and mommy yoga today

I wanted to start last week but since I had a c/s they told me to wait until I was 8 weeks PP.

It's a really really great bonding experience. I loved it. And DD loved it she smiled and cooed through the whole thing. We started out with baby yoga then did some mommy yoga. Women are encouraged to nurse their babies w/o having to leave the room, lots of women did it. So I figured it was a good place for me to start to get over my fear of bfing in public, I felt totally at ease doing it. We sing songs while doing the yoga and the babies love it.

The only thing I didn't like is that I didn't get a real work out. But that's ok with me, it's still totally worth it.?

  • at least you got to stretch and do fun things with your baby!
  • Very nice to hear.   The BF support group in my area this week is having a guest speaker-- a lady who teaches "mommy and me yoga"... I am there!

  • Do they have stroller workouts in your area? I like to balance mom and me type classes with stroller strides. DD still enjoys it. It's not as much bonding. But much, much more of a workout.
