Nap time as we know it is over

I know she's late to the party on this one, but Madeleine just started crawling and sitting up in her crib.  I'm afraid she'll never nap again. *sigh*

Re: Nap time as we know it is over

  • Hopefully after a week or so the new skills will lose their sense of novelty.  My DS is playing in his crib as I type.  Looks like no nap today!  I will give him a half hour and he best choose to sleep!!

  • I feel your pain on this one.  Once our Maddie started crawling, I thought life as I knew it was over.  It took a couple weeks, but she finally got the hang of sitting back down in the crib and then laying herself down.  She also became a stomach sleeper.  She soothe herself easier now which is a nice bonus from that icky time period.  Hopefully the novelty will wear off soon!

  • Just hold out... she will get over it Wink  It only lasted a few wks w/Harm.
