I had a c-section 5 days ago and have been pumping for 3-4 days. Today I am finally getting a good amount of milk (3 oz double-pumping for 15 mins), but I noticed there are clumps in the milk, which did not happen over the last several days.
Is this normal and can I still feed this milk to my baby? I just want to make sure it's not a sign of infection.
Any expertise is appreciated!

Re: Is chunks in freshly pumped milk normal?
Is this immediately after you express it, or after it's been in the fridge? I've noticed that after mine is cooled and separates, it is sometimes way more chunky than other times before I remix it. I just chalk it up to varying fat content - the color and other things vary, so I figure the consistency does too.
If it is immediately after you pump, sorry, I don't know about that.
