I was walking within days and started doing the elliptical at an easy pace at about 2 weeks. I waited until my 6 week check up to start running and doing ab work. I had an easy delivery though and worked out up until the day before.
After my 6 week check up. I've been slacking off lately though. I can't wait for the weather to warm up so we can go walking every day. My dog will love me!
Cleared at 6 weeks but didn't have enough energy until 7 or 8 weeks.

i had a c/s so it's probably different but i had to wait 6weeks before i was given the okay to workout. i was walking (and the doctor encouraged it) the day after my c/s the only workout i was allowed to do! lol. to be honest i have NO time to workout. i can hardly find time to feed myself or take a damn shower these days. ::sigh::
I started walking within days. At 1 month I started running a mile or two at a slow pace, and at 6 weeks I started doing more intense cardio and strength training. I was still doing cardio and weight lifting a few days before my due date, so I felt like I could have started back up sooner than I did, but my doctor was really serious about waiting 6 weeks (and I still couldn't wait that long).

Just started light walks in the neighborhood/treadmill around 4 weeks pp, but I had a c/s. Just had my 6 wk checkup yesterday and dr cleared me for exercise for as much as I feel up to. I plan to start on the elliptical/treadmill for a longer time and more intensity and start some light strength training.
For #1 (vag delivery), I was walking in the neighborhood by 2-3 weeks pp and started running around 5-6 weeks pp.
