How often do you change sheets?

This is a random question - how often do you change DC's sheets?  We have a sheet saver on top now, and he sleeps in a swaddleme, so it doesn't really seem like they get very dirty...

Re: How often do you change sheets?

  • I just changed DS' sheets for the first time today b/c he spit up all over it.  He's been home for at least 5 weeks!  It's a pain to change them since the mattress is so tight in the crib.
  • Hey mek.

Anyway, I change C's sheets once a week, she never spit up. this baby does not spit up in bed so once a week as well. She saves the spit up for my clothing. When they are NB/infants/no rolling...I put a purp cloth under the head to save the sheet as well.

  • Unless my DS had an accident, spit up, etc... I changed/washed sheets once a week.  Every Saturday I wash our sheets, so I just got in the habit of washing LO's sheets & clothes once a week, too.
  • Change them every week or two.  It depends on if he spits up, honestly.  If he doesn't, we are more likely to go two weeks between changes.
  • I try to change both DS and DD's sheets every 2 weeks unless they get dirty from spit up or a leaky diaper.

  • i try to do it once a week but i don't usually get to it that often. i immediately do it if she spits up or i spill something on it, though.
  • just changed DS sheets for the first time 2 wks ago because he spit up all over them, but I really should do it when we change ours. For the first 10wks he didn;t sleep in the crib so I didn;t have to worry about it.
