I just need a little advice on getting a good freezer stash. I've been back to work for a little over a month and I pump at work what my dd will eat the next day. I've been doing pretty good so far, but I would like to have a nice freezer stash so that I have some back up. I like the idea of having extra in case I would like to make plans or be away from my dd for a while, but not use up what she'll need when I'm at work. Suggestions?
Re: need to get a stash
pumping after baby first eats in the morning is one of the easiest ways.
another less attractive option is pumping between the hours of 1-4am- when prolactin levels are highest.
pretty much pumping after any nursing session will do though. also do compressions when you pump. helps maximize the output

I pump right before I go to work and then pump again at the time of DS's first feeding. This gives me at least 1 extra pumping session each day.
DS's last feed is typically around 6 pm (although some nights around 8 pm)- I pump again right before I go to bed. DS's first night feeding is typically around 2-3 am.
I also have done power pumping sessions on the weekends- after I feed DS, I sit with the pump for one hour- 10 minutes on, 10 minutes off, etc. It sucks to do it- but I have seen improvement in supply after doing it. Just find something good on TV to watch and have DH watch DC since you really can't do too much for that hour.
