Best socks?

DS was wearing Carter's socks- but he has outgrown the smaller size.  The bigger size is too big and now that he has "found" his feet- he is always taking them off or they are falling off.  DS has chubby feet- if that matters.  :)

So where do you get your socks?

Re: Best socks?

  • I bought some cheap cuffed socks (Child of Mine?) at Walmart. My DS is also about to grow out of the small Carter's ones and the new ones are a bit bigger, but still seem to stay on okay.

  • Love our Trumpette socks (I know around here you can get them at Von Maur)! They're not too thin or thick, stay on really well, and are 0-12 month size so they might still fit for awhile!?

  • I hear the trumpet socks stay on great but I havent tried them myself. $$$.
  • Children's Place has the best socks.
  • DD is an expert sock puller-offer, the only 2 she can't get off are Trumpette and Gymboree infant socks.  They are stretchy and hug her feet.  They are pricey however.  Someone recommended Target knock-off Trumpettes but DD can get those off too.
  • We have the Target Circo 0-6m socks. They're really long and can be cuffed. They're the only ones that have worked for DS so far.
  • My favorite are Gap
  • DS can get out of the Circo cuffed ones from Target. It makes me crazy. They are the only ones we've bought. Once he's outgrown them 0-6 months then we will invest in another brand.

  • I'm am going to have to aggee with pp and recommend the Trumpette socks. I have bought so many different kinds and should of originally bought these.  We have some Gap socks but the elastic around the ankle is soo tight and leave marks on DS's legs - that cannot be comfortable.  The Trumpette socks stay on really well but are not too tight - I'm not sure how they do that but they are the best socks!!

DS is only a month...but the Carter ones (or any of the other cutesy ones I got at showers) won't stay on him either. ?The Target ones are the only ones.
