Shy all of a sudden???

Anyone else's DC start this out of nowhere??? Just this past weekend my social butterfly of a son has turned into a super shy little kid. He even was shy at daycare this morning and these were people he has known for well over a year! Is this a form of separation anxiety??

    they go through different stages all the time. Don't push him if he doesn't want to , sometimes it just takes them a few minutes to warm up!

    DS has been doing this too lately. To the ladies at daycare, my parents, even DH. He will hide his head in my shoulder if anyone asked him to come to them. He doesn't fuss much.

    My daughter just started showing signs of both shyness and separation anxiety last week.  She burrows her head in me when she even sees our neighbor, who has babysat her a couple of times.  And she has started crying when I leave her in the nursery with the nanny.  I figure it is just a phase.
