Stupid question

Can removing endo increase estrogen? I got a high on my CBEFM this morning at CD 8. That's way early.  I tried googling, but could not find any useful info.

Re: Stupid question

  • Doesn't the CBEFM measure LH?   (I could be very wrong.)

After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!

  • The Highs measure estrogen and the Peaks are LH. (At least thats what I thought)

  • I have absolutely no idea, but the CBEFM does measure both estrogen and lh.

    Interesting question, I'm curious now.

  • I had endo, polyps, and large fibroids removed in November. ?There is no doubt in my mind that those growths have an effect on hormone levels. ?Before the surgery, I would get four straight days of positive OPKs before ovulation, and had a 9 day LP. ?This cycle, I only had one positive OPK and I'm 14 dpo! ?Sorry that this doesn't specifically address your question about estrogen, but just wanted to say I'm pretty sure my hormone levels have changed after having everything removed.
  • OMG Nikki, something odd happened to me the first cycle after my lap too.  It was my first cycle with the CBEFM and I got a peak on CD10.  CD10.  My first cycle after the lap was only 20 days long.  :-(  But then the 2nd cycle was fine and normal length.

I usually get 4 days of +OPKs too. Hmmmm... I wonder if this will change.

Jen - If this cycle is like others, I may o on CD 11.  Weird.
