Generally speaking? I didn't like bangs at all for a really long time, but they seem to be really "in" again and I find myself liking them again....esp the side swept ones.
No - I do admit I like the look of the side swept ones. However, they do not go with my hair. I have tried them and tried them and have just given up on them.
I love side swept bangs..but they are too high maintenence for me. I definitely look better without than with...but I think some people look great with bangs.
I just got them last week. I ashamed to say I've had basically the same hairstyle for the last 7 years or so. Long, blonde and blah. I decided to cut it to my shoulders and do bangs. They are great. I haven't had bangs in more than 10 years and I have to say they really show off my eyes. More ppl have commented on my eyes this week than in the last, ten years. So I guess I look better with bangs.
I have side swept bangs, but had no bangs for a long time. I like it either way just the same. Sometimes the "side swept" bangs bug the crap out of me and I end up bobby pinning them back anyway.
I don't like sideswept ones but I quite like plain bangs. More Judith Durham kind of bangs. Or a bob.
It is so much easier to look after and looks less severe.
?I could be biased because for 17 years I couldn't have bangs (I did ballet and the teacher was very strict). I have had them ever since I quit though.?
I've had bangs now for a few years and I like them-for when I actually do my hair. The rest of the time I'm in a pony tail and they are back in a headband or pinned.
I've had them so long - I just don't know if I have the patience to grow them out. I just got my hair cut and we discussed letting my bangs grow out, but the bangs actually look cute with the cut.
I have sadly had basically the same haircut since HS...my hair is crazy thick and straight, and it really only looks good a couple different ways, ya know?

I've had bangs since I was 12. I use them to hide a scar on my forhead.
I once tried to grow out my bangs but it looked stange so I went back to them. Plus then you could see my scar.
I prefer curled fluffed and aqua-net bangs. lol
