DON'T LAUGH AT THE STRINGS PLEASE! hah! I know they are ridiculous looking... I made the icing for them very quickly and I was going on 2.5 hours of sleep from last night... I think it got the job done, eh?
Aw, it looks totally fine, and actually quite impressive, I might add! Andre's getting plain old cupcakes...I won't tell him you made Jude a freaking guitar for a cake, ha ha ha.
I think it looks awesome! You're more ambitious than I was for DS's birthday, I made him just a little round smash cake, but bought a Costco sheet cake for everyone else. I didn't think I would have time to do 2 cakes. . .much less a fancy one like yours. I am making my sister's "wedding" (they got married on a cruise last year, it's an 80s party, not really a reception) cake. It's going to be a tiered black fondant Pac-Man cake with Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man on top. I'm excited, but a little nervous to make it.
