I had the video camera out this morning and was taping Zachary dancing to the Beatles.  He lost his balance and sat down and was turning to crawl towards the kitchen when he just face-planted into the ground.  Thank goodness DH was home.  There was blood all over his face.  DH grabbed him to make sure he didn't break a tooth and we got him cleaned up together. 

Now he has a fat lip and a flap of skin hanging off that he keeps playing with.  My poor little guy!    I think it frightened me more than it frightened him.  I need to keep it together better next time.

awww and it makes it that much sadder when they are doing something cute before hand!  poor zachary!

Poor babe!! Ruari did the same thing a while back, and I was home alone.  I called my parents (who live 5 min away), and they rushed over.  By the time they got here she was as happy as could be...with blood all over the place.  I felt pretty silly. The fat lip disappeared fairly quickly, but that little piece of skin seemed to last forever.
