Oh, there's a little cafe on 75 & Spring Creek called Prince Bistro that we could go to @ say 5 or 5:30? From what I'm hearing, I think we should be in line at 6 or so since it starts at 7.
What do people think about how early we need to be in line?
Because there was a line out the door by 6:30 at the Grapevine sale last night, and Plano will be a much larger (read: crazier) sale - the item count was closed at 60,000 items. It's a very good thing to get in line early - Totty is coming to Plano around 4 and we're going to get in line then; as a consignor I can shop at 5:00. I've given up hope of finding a walker for T (and can't volunteer at all - lots of VIPs that week and no time off allowed) and ordered one from Amazon, so I'll just be poking through the clothes again.
As for restaurants - I've not heard (or seen) the Prince Bistro, but several little restaurants just opened up in that area (around 75 & Spring Creek, right down the road from the convention center); I drive through there every morning so I'll take a good look and will post what I see tomorrow.
I'm totally new to this Plano DC thing. Can any first time mom attend the pre-sale or do you have to pre-register? The website said the 100 first time mom spots were already full, but I was wondering if they might let people in at the door. Just curious.

You do need to pre-register for it, and I don't know if they'll let people in at the door or not; we were given a wristband when we checked off our names and they looked for that as we were going in.
The Prince Bistro is a perfect spot to eat beforehand - it's right down the street from the Plano Convention Center. It's brand new and I totally missed it (shows you how observant I am, right?)! It's right next to a Starbucks and Jamba Juice just in case anyone needs extra energy, hee.
Re: Plano DC Ladies
I think I have to come straight from work

I'm bringing a friend of mine but would like to meet up with everyone beforehand. I'm getting excited! Hope I can find some cool stuff.
The Plano sale is this Saturday at 7PM for 1st Time moms. I was thinking we could meet somewhere around 5-5:30 so we would be in line by 6 or so.

I lived in Plano when I was pregnant & the Prince Bistro was one of my faves!
Is everyone ok with meeting at the Prince Bistro at say 5 on Saturday? It's on the North East corner of 75 & Spring Creek.
Cool! I will post a new thread in case people don't check back here!
