soft soled shoe opinions?

Im looking to keep DS in a softer soled shoe for a little while (DH and I both believe it is better for him to be able to feel the ground beneath him while walking, etc) Anyway, I have pedipeds for him now which I LOVE! However, of course they are pretty expensive and he is now in the largest size of the originals. So, Im looking into some other brands and wondering if any of you have tried these and have any opinions on them. Any info is appreciated :-)

See Kai Run?

Re: soft soled shoe opinions?

  • We have a LOT of Pedipeds and IMO they are worth every penny.

See Kai Run is good too though.

  • My favorites are her See Kai Run shoes (smaller version), we always get compliments on them. ?They do seem to run a little big on her. ?There is a size chart you can print out on their website, though the cheapest place to get them is Amazon. ?HTH!

  • We love See Kai Run. The shoe is soft and the bottom has a flexible sole but can still withstand outside playtime.
  • Target Circo brand makes a knock off pediped, they're in the shoe dept not in the baby dept with the knock off robeez. They have a "leather" sole with little spots of rubber on them so they're non-slip and good for wearing outdoors. But they only go up to a size 5.

After that we switched to stride-rite shoes because they're the only ones I found locally that are soft enough for me to bend in one hand. I only buy them on sale, there's no way I'd spend $45 on a pair of baby shoes, paying $25-30 is hard enough.
