I got this "BabyTalk" magazine in the mail and in it is an article titled "Hooked Online: Seeking information, community, and escape, new moms are spending more and more time on the web. How much is too much?" I read it and thought crikey, I think I'm spending too much time online! I mostly do it when DD naps, but I'm sure there are more productive ways to use my time. I think I should limit myself to 30 minutes a day or something. And I think it's funny that I read that article and immediately had to come post about it online, lol. Anyway, does anyone else think they spend too much time on the computer like me?

Re: Spending too much time online?
Bah. WTF else are you supposed to do when you're at home with a baby? Clean? Cook?
DH and I have no-internet nights, and I'm trying to get myself motivated to start sewing again. But whatever, things get done if they need it, whether or not I waste time on the internet...
DS2 - Oct 2010 (my VBAC baby!)
I was spending too much time online so now I no longer log on in the evening or on the weekend. This said, I probably still spend too much time online.
I know I spend too much time online. I am on the internet throughout both of his naps (probably 3 hours?) every day, and then also I'm off and on in the evening when DS is down for bed.
But I can't clean while he sleeps (he is too light of a sleeper) and there's not much else to do. I would rather be on the internet than read books!
