Is your DD playing with a Lazy Kate and a really weird bobbin (or just weird to me)?  Are you a spinner?

It is a Lazy Kate but the things on it are some weird rubber disks from a toy car building set.  DD seemed to think it was a stacking toy. LOL  

Its actually belongs to one of my good friends ... she's a spinner.  I'm hoping to learn though!

Ok, I was at a complete loss for how it would possibly work!  I love spinning, it's very calming. . . .or it is when DS isn't trying to play with the wheel while I'm spinning.  He thinks it's hilarious to stop or just slow the wheel while it's going or snap the stretchy tension cord and make it go *boing*.
