difference between Chinese & Indian PF?

I've seen people asking about what people prefer, but I never see what the actual difference is. What is it?

I took a class at cottonbabies and they said it was the stitching (colored or  same as fabric) and the quilting.  I don't remember which was which... but one had quilting that was more in rows and the other more in square-shapes.
