Ultrasound question

M+K=3

I had my first ultrasound at 7 weeks and I'll have another at my 19 week appointment. How many more should i expect, if any?

I have one at every appt, but it seems to vary depending on your dr.

Those were the only ones my doctor wanted me to have.  But i think every OB might be different.

I addition to the 7 week and 20 week, I have one at 36 weeks to measure baby's size - every doctor is different though.

It really depends on your doctor. For some people, the anatomy scan at mid-pregnancy is their last ultrasound unless something comes up. Some doctors do another ultrasound during 3rd trimester to check the baby's growth.

I had one at 8 weeks and another at 16 weeks...that will be it for me!

I'm just jealous that you've already had one!  I only get one and that's at 20 weeks.  My best friend is a vet and is begging me to let her put me on the puppy ultrasound (it's the same machine) to see if we can find the baby.

I think after the 20ish week anatomy scan, it is only then done if there is a concern and/or at the end to measure fluid levels to see if they need to induce or let you keep waiting for the baby to come on its own, check its size, etc.
