We CD'd until DS was a year and started daycare, so I'm kinda new to the disposable scene.
Pampers leak for us, huggies do ok, but we are right in between sizes in huggies, so 3s are a little too small and 4s are too huge in the leg. 7th generation diapers fit DS perfectly, but they're so darned expensive. I don't mind paying a little extra, especially because they're more environmentally friendly, but the best I can find is 120 for $37 at diapers.com (that's with their $10 coupon). At that price, I can't justify it, especially because we can get 224 huggies at costco for $45!
Does anyone have a better rec for the 7th generation diapers? I don't mind buying in bulk if the price is right. Thanks!
Re: Rec for best price on 7th gen diapers?
Thanks ladies. We haven't decided whether to keep CDing or not - when we CD during the week, we use 2-3 diapers a night, and it's not worth doing laundry until we have at least 3-4 night's worth - by that time, they sit so long that I have to double wash them to get out the smell. I'm not sure if it's worth it. So far, we've been CDing on the weekends only.
If you don't mind giving me a little advice on size... I had some left over 7th gens that fit DS perfectly, but I can't recall if they were 3s or 4s. Technically he could fit either - he's a little over 24 lbs, and 32" tall. He's not very chubby around the waist. Any recs for what I should get?
