Left ammoxicillian out all night, still ok?

I left it out on the counter last night.  Been out since 9pm and I just saw it.  Can I still use it?  Madelyn has been so sick this week and I'd hate to have to take her back out to the pharmacy to get new-but I will if I need to.

should be fine, last time we had some I  found that it didn't have to be refridgerated but it tasted better if it was.

I think that is the case also - it just tastes better when refrigerated.  If there is a 24-hour pharmacy near you (even if it's not the one you got the medicine from) you can call them to ask them.

It's been awhile but I remember I did the same thing so DH called our pharmacy and they said it was fine.  You might want to ask Bubbly.

My dd just started it a few days ago and the directions say it does not have to be refrig.

I'm sure it will be fine but you could always call the drugstore and ask the pharmacist just to be on the safe side.
