FP Laugh and Learn House or Kitchen?

DH and I are thinking of getting DS either the Laugh and Learn House or the Laugh and Learn Kitchen for his first birthday. I'd like to buy it now and put it away, since this week at Toys r Us you can get a toy for under $19.99 free. Do you have experience with either one? Which do you like best?

TIA!

Re: FP Laugh and Learn House or Kitchen?

  • We have the house and DD absolutely loves it! I don't think you can go wrong w/ either though.. they're very similar. I think we went w/ the house because she already has a play kitchen, and because it was cheaper (I got it on sale at TRU w/ a BRU 20% coupon for $35!).

Take advantage of that toy deal! That's awesome :) We're heading over there tomorrow.

  • We have the house too, and DD LOVES it!! My BFF has the kitchen, I liked the house better for her though, so that is why we got it. It's one of her fav toys!

  • I vote for the house. DS has the house and loves it. I was going to get the kitchen until I saw it at a store and was disappointed as to how small it was. It's much smaller than the house and doesn't have as many options.
  • DD has the kitchen and she loves it.  She has also played with the house and love that too.  I don't think you could go wrong with either.

  • My DD got the kitchen at about 9 months old and has loved it since. It was worth every penny.
  • dd has the kitchen and loves it!!
  • DEFINITELY the house!
  • We have the kitchen and DD loves it!  We've had it for 5 months, and she hasn't gotten bored with it at all.
  • dd has the home and she absolutely loves it!  she loves to go in and out of the door and turning off and on the light.  can you get one of those for $19.99?  wow!
  • We have both but if I had to pick between them I would say house, it does a lot more and takes up less space, DD plays with it more than her kitchen
  • We have the house and DD loves it. I looked at both but chose the house because I figured I'd want to buy her a really fun kitchen later on.
  • We have both(thank you Craigslist)...and though DS plays with both, he definitely plays with the house more than the kitchen.
