My DD's babysitter called my cell phone and left a message of DD "talking" to herself for 45 seconds (as long as the message would let her leave). Then she left another message right after that explaining that I had to hear it since she sounds like a Furbie. Her babysitter said she's been talking nonstop (well, it's "Ellie-speak" - not exactly sentences yet...) for the past hour. It's so cute.
Re: DD sounds like a Furbie! :)
aww!! and what an awesome babysitter!
my mom just found my furbie a few weeks ago and gave it to me... don't know if i want to turn it on!
That's the ironic thing - I absolutely hate Furbies, and of course my sister was obsessed with them when they first came out, so she had tons of them. Even our cats were scared of them.
It's just funny listening to her - and I have to get it on video one of these days before she starts talking in real sentences. The problem is that as soon as we turn on the camera she stares at it like a deer in headlights.
