Kinda nervous about DC (not Ike, shopping!)

DC not being Dear Child, lol.

I am getting anxious.  I am always nervous meeting new people (but i have been dying to meet people here in TX) and large crowds intimidate me.  Not trying to be nosy, but how much $ should i be bringing to this thing?  I'm assuming i can find stuff like clothes (Ike's already in 9 month!) and some of the bigger "toys" for Ike.  Anything else i should be looking for?

lol, i will probably get flamed for this, but i do not have access to our checking account or credit cards (i could take my happy butt to the bank, but DH trusts that i won't).  I am near uncontrolable when i have access to $, so now i don't.  So i will need to let DH know how much money i will need to take with me, lol

I am bringing with me a budget of up to $100. I am planning on looking for:

- one of those Little Tykes red and yellow car thingys for his first birthday.

- shoes

- clothes (specifically 12-18 mo jammies and pants ... and anything else for the spring/summer that catches my fancy).

Totty - I just don't know what we would all do without your lists!  I was looking for the same exact things and now I have a list to remind me.  You're the best!

Thx Totty, i am a list freak too, lol.  I like to be prepared, otherwise i will buy a whole bunch of stuff that i either already have or didn't really want, lol.

I was going to bring $150-200 just "in case".  But I definitely want one of these too!

See, I'm like you - I'm leaving my debit card and credit cards at home, and just bringing cash.  When that's gone I'm done, no more.  I'm going to look like a nerd, but I'll be sitting on the floor with my stuff adding it all up on my phone's calculator just to make sure.  I do a lot of shopping in cash now, and that helps us stick to our budget.

Oh, now that is just RUDE.  Grrr!  I can't take the afternoon off because I took last Friday afternoon off, and I need to take next Friday and Monday off too.  It's going to be a looooooonngg day!

I'm excited about the sale too! My 2 y.o. goddaughter's mom is coming with me. I need 3-6 mo. clothes, dresses for church, shoes, window shades, and maybe some toys (incl. the fisher price seahorse or Playskool gloworm.) My friend needs a toy box and who knows what else?!

I need to come up with a better game plan for what I need and order of importance!!
