Graco Safeseat

We just bought the Graco Safeseat and I need a second base.  Does anyone know if the Safeseat fits into the Snugride base?  The Safeseat bases are much harder to find.

    I *believe* that the Safeseat fits in the Snugride 32 adjustable base. That is what we were told at BabiesRUs.

    man, i love this board! we just started thinking about carseats and i was wondering the same exact thing since there doesn't seem to be a separate Safeseat base.

    The Snugride 32 is a Safeseat, renamed. ?So, theoretically, you could use a Snugride 32 base. ??

    Yes, I have the Safeseat in Devonshire and the base that came with it is in our Honda and the extra snugride base I bought is in our van.

    Thank you ladies!  I was really hoping they were the same base.  I got a great closeout deal on the Safeseat from Albee Baby but extra bases seem to be in no supply.

    No it won't fit into the Snugride base at least some of the models. Someone bought us the snugride base by mistake and it didn't fit.

    Yes, there is a Safeseat base and they do sell it at BRU.
