my vein is actually swollen.. if you run your finger across it you can feel a lump... thank you NURSE! :-( (if you look closely, you can see the yellow-ing of last weeks bruise!)

holy crap!!!  just from a blood draw??!  damn... looks like she stabbed you with a fork or something!!  could she not get the vein or something??

That bruise is from 1 vile of blood from todays visit to the RE to check hormone levels. . . . she put the needle in and the blood came out right away.. it hurt like hell though and it usually doesn't......

last week she tried getting my blood from my right arm.. in goes the needle.. NO BLOOD came out! so she's moving it all around and I'm like lady, please... please try the other arm! and she's like: it's not you! it's me!!! so after a few minutes she gave up and hit up leftie.... she swabbed it down with alcohol and stuck me with the needle before the alcohol had time to dry.. yah, that hurt like hell.. and bruised like a mother, too!!!!

Ouch...  A friend of mine has viens that jump out of the way of any given needle, and I've seen her with 1/3 of her arm bruised up.  Boo...

I hate having blood drawn.  The only time I don't end up with a bruise so bad that I can't lift things is when I go to the OB.  The lady there is perfect.  Everyone else is awful.

I can't be mad at the lady cos she is SUPER nice but she really does suck with needles.. and I have to go back next week for. . . you guess it.. more blood!
