When did your doctor schedule your c-section? At what week did they determine based on positioning? i know i've seen on here where babies change positions late in the game...but i also just read that in general babies are in position by 32 wks...
At my last appt, my OB said he would put in the paperwork to schedule my section for 38 weeks (hospital won't do it before then, anyway). My baby A has been breech since 18 weeks, and B is transverse on top of him, so no one is optimistic about them going anywhere-- there is just not a lot of room for them to turn. A vaginal delivery is not 100% ruled out, but probably about 99%, lol
I'm waiting to see how my situation shakes down. At 32.5 weeks, B was breech and A was head down. At that appt. my doc scheduled a c-section for 37.5 weeks. At today's appt., both were head down. We're still planning for the c-section but i was surprised they could still flip that late!
We set a c-section date when I was 34 weeks (I think, it might have been 33) the date was set for when I was 37 wk 6 days. My girls kept changing positions all the way to the end, but my doctor left it totally up to me what I wanted to do. She did tell me that she would not deliver a breech baby with me, so if baby A was delivered and B flipped breech she would do a c/s. ?Since my girls have been nonstop since the beginning changing things up with their position I was so afraid that they would do the whole flip thing and I would go through both a vag. and c/s and I really did not want that.?
My peri wasn't going to schedule my c-section until 37 weeks. We decided at 34 weeks that I was definitely having a c-section. One of my girls was breech during the entire pg and the other flipped from breech to transverse sometime around 30 weeks.
